Update on new technology:  The Jabra Enhance Plus

Jabra, a world leading audio and video brand has partnered with GN resound, a renowned hearing aid manufacturer, to create the Jabra Enhance Plus.  The result is a medical grade, FDA approved hearing experience that brings together the best of audio and hearing technology.

Over 50 million Americans experience some loss of hearing yet do not seek help. Jabra Enhance Plus is designed for patients with some perceived difficulty especially in challenging listening situations who are not ready for traditional hearing aid technology but would like assistance with their hearing

The Jabra Enhanced Plus focuses on what you want to listen to without simply increasing the volume. This first of its kind innovation is a 3 in 1 earbud created to improve the sound quality of hearing in patients having some difficulty hearing speech and enjoying music. Jabra uses 4 dedicated microphones to reduce background noise and improve speech clarity, so whether you are in a listening situation with background noise or dinner with a small group, the conversation you want to hear will be clearer.

The ideal candidate for this new technology is someone who has difficulty hearing in noisy environments, wants more clarity, and have the ability to stream phone calls and listen to music.  Criteria includes those with mild to moderate hearing loss and likes the idea of wearing earbuds instead of the conventional hearing aid domes or molds.  The Jabra is compatible with iPhones with iOS 14 or newer.

The first step to better hearing is a complete Audiological evaluation to determine the degree and type of hearing loss you have.  Once completed, we can discuss whether this exciting new technology is appropriate for you.

We are excited to announce that we are a Jabra Enhance Center certified to dispense this exciting new product.

You can speak with our office manager Luz at 917-441-6094 who can answer any questions you may have and to schedule an Audiological evaluation to determine whether this new technology is right for you.
